At the end of the II century BC, while the Romans expanded their empire throughout the Iberian Peninsula, destroying everything that stood in their way, Amia, a young Avaringian woman, who has grown up between the majestic Cantabrian landscapes and the tranquility of her small settlement, will be surprised by the unexpected turn her life takes. She embarks on a long journey armed only with her courage and her determination, convinced she can live according to her own rules. On this journey plagued with trials and tribulations, but also with its high points, she grows as a woman and discovers within herself the strength to carve out her destiny.
Silvia Dean was born in Tenerife, but from a very young age, she has lived in different countries such as the U.K. and Poland. She has always had two great passions, teaching and History, and her interest in the latter one led her to start a trilogy called «Amia» (La Piel de Amia), which has received very favourable reviews since its publication.
